Who are we?
Battal Law Firm, based in Istanbul, is a law and consultancy office that provides high-standard legal services to its domestic and international clients. Operating from Beşiktaş, our firm aims to provide not only dispute resolution but also proactive risk management and strategic consultancy to its corporate and individual clients.
Our founder, Attorney Emir Battal’s, international legal education and experience enable our firm to provide local solutions with a global perspective. With our competent team, fluent in Turkish, English, and French, we analyze our clients’ legal needs down to the finest detail and develop results-oriented approaches.
Our Founder
Attorney Emir Battal
Attorney Emir Battal began his legal education in the United Kingdom at the University of Kent, graduating with an LLB (Hons) degree. He completed his legal equivalency in Turkey at Galatasaray University Faculty of Law, and subsequently successfully completed his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Economic Law at Galatasaray University Institute of Social Sciences.
Throughout his career, he has gained experience in a wide range of areas, from international procurement operations (such as a $20 million acquisition process based in Miami) to managing thousands of debt collection cases. Combining the discipline of international law with local legal practice, Emir Battal offers his clients a vision that encompasses both Common Law and Continental European legal systems.
